From presenting design ideas and inspiration, to facilitating workshops with various constituencies in order to uncover staff wants and needs, to serving as the liaison with all vendors and suppliers, Rachel created a timeless project on budget. She helped us to stay on track, always with professionalism, flexibility, and positivity. She was an outstanding listener, able to calmly absorb a lot of opinions and information and distill a plethora of data into an action plan. Her feathers never seemed ruffled even when ours were, and she was an invaluable partner in what was ultimately a highly successful and beautiful project.

As the Police Chief for a mid-sized community in Arizona I had the pleasure of working with Mike and Rachel Rosso on the design and construction of a 43,000 square foot police headquarters, with a budget of 23 million. They spent countless hours engaging my staff and me to get a clear vision of the facility we wanted. Once they had the information they needed, they went to work designing a facility that is one of the very best looking and most functional police facilities in the entire State. Getting a high quality facility in the end was what we had hoped for, but we ended up with more than we hoped for, and all within budget. Perhaps the cherry on top, was how enjoyable it was to with the Russo’s. Without question, two of the most humble and easy to work with people I’ve ever been around. Great people who are great at what they do.
Several years later, and in a new position as the Town Manager, we are once again working with Mike to design and construct a 60 million dollar community center and aquatics center. Although in the early stages of design, this process and relationship has been equally enjoyable. My Parks Director can’t say enough great things about his time working with Mike and the amount of time he gives to the project and his attention to detail. If anyone is looking for a great design firm operated by high quality people, the Rosso’s definitely fit the bill!
